Quality Control-ELECTRIC KETTLE:

Adhesion test

1) For silkscreen and printing surface

i. Press a strip of 3M tape over the printed surface. Rub the tape firmly with fingernail back and forth for 25 times. Then lift the tape quickly at 90 degree peel. Repeat this test 3 times.

Requirement: No portion of the printing shall be pulled off.

ii. Rub the printed surface for 15 seconds with cheesecloth dipped in alcohol.

Requirement: No discoloration, no flaked portion of the printing

2) For label and marking: The unit is conditioned for 48 hours in air having a relative humidity of 93% at a temperature of 10°C higher than the ambient temperature in normal use. After conditioning, the labels and markings shall not be lifted or peeled off.

Stength test for welding Controller.

Press less than 80N power with 90º for Welding position(as below picture)

Electrical strength

1. The unit is operated at rated voltage in normal condition and the wattage shall be measured within +5%-10% of rated wattage.

2. The unit shall be capable of withstanding the 1000V hi-pot test for a period of 2S.

3. The unit must pass the DC12V/25A ground resistance test between the grounding metal surfaces of the plug. The resistance measured shall not exceed 0.1Ω.

4. Run the unit at 1.15 times the rated power. After stabilization, conduct the current leakage test on the unit and it shall not exceed 0.75mA.

Stability test:

1) Fill the unit with water to the MAX capacity and then place the unit in any direction on a plane that inclines at an angle of 15 degree to the horizontal. The appliance shall not overturn.

2) The unit shall not rock more than 0.5mm when placed on a flat surface.

Life test

The unit must be capable of withstanding the life test without mechanical or electrical breakdown. The test detail shall be referred to the Operation Directive from the Quality Assurance Test Center.

Sliding test:

Slide the unit across a wood surface for a distance of 750px and the feet shall not be removed or mark the surface.

1. Product must conform to the related electrical safety standards as follows.

1) EN60335-1

2) EN60335-2-15

2. Product shall meet the requirements of ROHS and EMC where products are sold；

3. All materials that come in contact with food shall comply with the related standards of food safety.
